What Should my Next Anthology Be?

In a few months I will be putting plans together for my 2009 anthology - try to do one a year. I have done Robots and Time, Tales From the Blackwood, Tesselations, Zombies and in November Leaves of Blood. Some ideas would be good I guess.

How about dark comedy? Its a genre favourite of mine. The really biting satirical humour that can come through in such stories makes you squirm but can be delightfully entertaining.

Orrrr.... Cannibal celebrations of holiday seasons (Christmas, Easter, Hannukah, New Year, Solstice...). I like cannibals.

You know, I think an area that hasn't been explored in great detail yet is the number 666. An anthology filled with stories about this number would be awesome - the sheer scope of possibilities is virtually endless. For example - house numbers, letterboxes, safety deposit boxes, times and dates, what do you think?

After some consideration, and thoughts from others I decided on a new direction with the 09 antho - view prose and markets for this 2009 collection - subs will be accepted until August 09

The focus is to take the character, and based on what she is write an urban fantasy story utilizing her skills, and manner. The character profile should be enough to build a story around. The anthology is a Chronicle of Sarina's life.
