I use this page only as a networking tool and rarely even for that to be honest. When Talie set it up, I was one of the first here, and lots of people have joined, but activity is slow to nonexistent - still Talie is a great news editor and lists upcoming events and occasionally there are announcements of book launches and stuff like that from members.
In the end, I guess it's better to be a member and not miss out on possibilities than to just rely on other sites.
