Yeah, Antisf is so accessible and like clockwork each month. I noticed your page on AHWA had changed, noticed you've had a piece accepted for the necrotic tissue athology, again congrats.
I finished my piece for that last Friday. I'll let it sit a week before sending. Its a post-apocalyptic story in side a empty hospital (well almost empty). It more sci-fi than straight horror, so i've tried to scare up the end bit.
Anyway, fingers crossed.
I've got a 3 stories in a "maybe" pile at Anitpodean, like u the first got accepted in less then a week then the others just sort of sit there. Although getting 1 accepted is a little contagious and i'm sort of hoping another will get accepted too. Happy to let them sit there though as I really like that site.
I'm working on a short story where an old gets keeps getting tommorows paper delivered today, it is causing him a lot of trouble and is keeping me amused.

Read your story in Antpodean, really enjoyed & it thought was very clever.
Up until a few months ago I worked as a newspaper photographer (now working as a journalist), so I could really relate to the differences bw film technology of her father and opposed to the digital and immediate weapon the daughter used. Very good use of words too.
FYI (useless fact) the red-eye is caused by the flash on the camera sitting too close to the lens & can be easily overcome with an external unit mounted only a few inches height.
And the darkness thickens with the scent of terror. I wait in wonderment at the coming of all things drippy and wet and glistening red. The group now has two dazzling beauties, one raven, one fair. In their eyes I see a beginning, a haunting to lure the hapless into a well so deep that even the screams will falter at its rim. I say welcome, but is that with open hands or blackened heart. Time will tell, will tell, will tell...
Oh what's this? Ah, a nice comfy chair sitting in the middle of this dark room. Hum, I think I'll have a nice sit down. But wait, what's that in the corner, barely discernible in the gloom. Gasping, I draw back, my teeth bared in a grimace. Hoveri...
